2016-2017 Fall Legal Friday AM

Friday AM tracks include Debtor/Creditor and Intellectual Property Law.

Debtor/Creditor morning sessions start off with tax issues with bankruptcy, followed by a case law update, and concludes with a judges panel on Supreme Court decisions .

Intellectual Property Law sessions include 2 hours on the right of publicity including an overview of the property right of a post-mortem right of publicity, the tort of invasion of privacy, and the applicability and enforceability of those rights in other jurisdictions and in Arkansas. Legislation enacting right of publicity protection is gaining momentum across the country. This session will also look at the hurdles in enacting the Arkansas right of publicity statute and similar legislation across the country. A third hour will cover trade secrets.

Registrants are welcome to attend one track or bounce between the Friday AM sessions based on what fits your CLE needs.
