2015-2016 Webinar: Estate Planning for Digital Assets

When:  Nov 30, 2015 from 12:00 PM to 01:00 PM (CT)
Most client assets are held electronically and subject to access through usernames and passwords, and a variety of other security hurdles.  Conventional powers of attorney do not guarantee executors or trustees access to digital assets when a person dies. In the same way, many clients leave behind valuable personal assets in the form of their blogs or social media pages or other online accounts, all of which are also difficult to access and control on the death of a client.  This program will cover the unclear state of the law on digital assets and the practical process of planning for them.
