ABOUT ANNUAL MEETING
The Arkansas Bar Association Annual Meeting is the largest legal event in Arkansas. Over four days, attorneys will come together for continuing legal education, receptions, award ceremonies, and entertainment. From traditional social events and receptions to cutting edge CLE, the ArkBar Annual Meeting is the place to be in June.
The 117th Annual Meeting will be held June 10-13, 2015. This year's theme of Preserving Justice For All brings together a stellar line-up of local and out-of-state speakers. Some highlights from this year's meeting include:
» Law, Justice, and the Holocaust: How the Courts Failed in Germany by Dr. William Frederick Meinecke, Jr.
» Plenary Speaker: Justice E. Oliver Diaz, Jr. Justice Diaz was the subject of the award winning HBO documentary film HOT COFFEE. Best-selling author John Grisham has stated that his story inspired the novel THE APPEAL.
» Barron K. Henley returns with 60 Tips in 60 Minutes and adds an additional hour on Communication Breakdown, It’s Always the Same.
» Learn about Cyber Evidence and 4th Amendment Search and Seizure with Professor Thomas Clancy.
» Sean Carter - Humorist at Law will be entertaining and informative as he returns to our meeting for two hours of CLE.
