Registration Policies

How to Register

Meals & Events Included with Registration

Full meeting registration includes all CLE Programs (including the AttPro Insurance Program on Wednesday), Electronic Course Materials, Receptions, Hospitality Areas, Exhibit Hall, Entertainment, Continental Breakfasts, Breaks, & Lunch.  Lunch Tickets are provided for each registrant and will be collected at the door.

Guest Registration Information

Licensed attorneys cannot attend as guests and must register using the regular meeting registration.  Guest registrations must accompany a full meeting registration. Registered guests receives one ticket per day (Wednesday - Friday) for lunch.  Guests may attend breakfast, breaks, and social events.  Guests may not attend CLE seminars.

Cancellation and Refunds

Full refunds, less a $50 administrative charge, will be given to registrants whose cancellation is received at least two weeks before the program begins.  Refunds will not be issued for cancellations received after two weeks prior to program start.  If you do not cancel and do not attend, you will receive the electronic course materials only upon request.

Payment Information

Acceptable forms of payment include cash, money orders, credit cards, and checks.

Cash
Do not mail cash.  Cash may be used only for in-person submittals.

Credit Cards
Credit cards may be used for in-person, online or faxed transactions.  Credit card information cannot be accepted via email.  We accept Discover, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Checks
Please make checks payable to the Arkansas Bar Association.  Please note that we will not accept checks that do not have an imprinted or preprinted name or address of the account holder on the check.  For example, we will not accept temporary checks, such as those from a new account.

Returned Checks
Any check that is returned to us for any reason, including Insufficient Funds, will be charged a $40 processing fee.  We reserve the right to reject any check due to previous bad checks.

Attendee Information

By registering for this event, you acknowledge that Annual Meeting attendees' name and mailing address may be shared with exhibitors.

Photography

From time to time at ArkBar events, the ArkBar may take photographs of participants, attendees, and guests for use in its marketing or promotional materials, news publications or website. By attending such events, you are consenting to the ArkBar taking and using your, and your guests', photograph and name without compensation. Any photographs taken will be the sole property of the ArkBar.

Policy Prohibiting Republication of the Materials, Programs, and Presentations of the Association

By registering to attend an Arkansas Bar Association event, you are agreeing to the following Policy Prohibiting Republication of the Materials, Programs, and Presentations of the Association adopted by the Board of Governors on April 30, 2011 and the House of Delegates on June 11, 2011.  The Arkansas Bar Association considers its Continuing Legal Education and all other programs; materials; media and data developed for presentations; publications; forms; handbooks; catalogs; pamphlets; videos; electronic and digital files; photographs;booklets; and materials in any format, the Association’s Protected Property. The Arkansas Bar Association does not allow its protected property to be copied, filmed, taped, photographed, or recorded by any means or republished by any entity, except as provided hereinafter. An individual or entity may submit to the Executive Director a written request to duplicate and republish specifically identified Protected Property. Upon receipt of the written request, the Executive Director, may grant an exception to this policy to similar associations having reciprocal arrangements or joint undertakings with the Association and to individuals and entities in cases where duplicating and republication is determined to be in interest of the Association. Consent to duplicate or republish the Association’s Protected Property shall always be in writing which writing shall specifically identify the Protected Property to be duplicated or republished.
